Changes To Montreal Bandwidth (August 16 2007)
Our Montreal bandwidth limits have been upped from 7 Gbps to 9 Gbps. A new Videotron (Level3) connection and a new TorIX connection has also been added.
Thankfully, due to the high capacity fibre that is installed, the previous announcement regarding VideoTron's bandwidth limits does not affect Fibre customers!
9 Gbps of bandwidth is a lot, and by using a central hub like Montreal, it ensures that all operations will maintain functional even if one of the backbone providers go down!
